Antibiotics – The Big Fight

By taking antibiotics when we don’t need to we help bacteria become stronger and more resistant to antibiotics. This means antibiotics are less effective at fighting them, in more and more cases antibiotics can’t fight them at all and the risk of people dying from bacterial infections is increasing.   We can’t stop antibiotic resistance but we can slow it down and buy more time to develop new antibiotics.
